Mr. Hari L Mundra

Mr. Mundra is a rank holder both in B.A. Hons and M.B.A., who has 52 years of extensive industrial experience, both in India and Indonesia. He began his career in 1971 in Hindustan Unilever Ltd and was the youngest member of its Board as the Vice President and Executive Director in charge of Exports at the time he left HUL in 1995. As a Management Board Member of RPG Group, he was the Group Chief Financial Officer as well as the President and Chief Executive of Carbon Black Business till 2001. In 2002, he joined Wockhardt Group as the Executive Vice Chairman. In 2003, he became the Deputy Managing Director and Finance Director of Essar Oil and was responsible for its resurrection. Post his superannuation, he has been the Senior Advisor to Hospira, USA for their Indian acquisitions and the Global Financial Advisor to Wockhardt Group for their turnaround. He has been the visiting professor at IIM, Ahmedabad for the last 13 years. Deeply engaged with the social sector, he led the turnaround of Indian Cancer Society and continues as its Hon Chairman. He is also the Founder Vice President of another NGO viz Society for Complementary Therapies.

Dr. Anita Borges

Dr Borges has served as the President of the SRL Diagnostics centre of excellence for histopathology and as Vice President (Asia) of the International Academy of Pathology. She has chaired the Clinical Laboratory Accreditation Committee of the National Accreditation Board for Testing Laboratories and was the Dean of the Indian College of Pathologists. Educated in London, New York and India, she has spent 25 years as a Cancer Pathologist, at the Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital in Mumbai. Currently, she is the Director at Centre for Oncpathology. She is also the Vice Chairperson at ICS and Trustee in Charge for Screening.

Mrs. Usha Thorat

Mrs Thorat served as the Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India from November 2005 to November 2010. Prior to this she was the Executive Director of RBI. As Deputy Governor she was responsible for the Department of Currency Management, Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation, Inspection Department, Premises Department, Rural Planning and Credit Department and Urban Banks Department. She is currently the Hon Secretary & Managing Trustee at ICS and also Trustee in Charge for Cancer Care at ICS. Has been associated with ICS for more than a decade.

Dr. Purna Kurkure

Dr Kurkure is a Senior Advisor, Clinical Collegium for Oncology Services, Narayana Health Group, Head, Division of Paediatric, Haemato- Oncology & BMT, SRCC Children’s Hospital Joint Secretary (Admin), Indian Academy of Paediatrics (2022-23); Treasurer Indian Academy of Paediatrics (2020-21); also served at Tata Memorial Hospital as Head of Paediatric Oncology. She is currently the Jt. Managing Trustee at ICS, Trustee in charge for Survivorship and Rehabilitation plus convenor of UGAM (Childhood Cancer Survivorship Support Group) at ICS.

Mr. Gautam Chakravarti

Mr. Chakravarti started as Management Consulting at AF Ferguson & Co. and Management Structure & Systems Ltd. After that worked with Hindustan Unilever Ltd., Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. Reliance Communications in various leadership roles. Also worked as Global Chief Operating Officer at Bilcare Ltd. Global Chief Operating Officer, which is specialized packaging for the Pharma industry.

And also heading the organisation at Blackstone Capital Partners and Gokaldas Exports, one of the listed portfolio companies of Blackstone. He is currently the Hon Treasurer at ICS, and the Trustee in Charge for Finance at ICS.

Dr. Vinay Deshmane

Dr. Deshmane has done MS, DBB, FRCS (Glasgow), MD (London), FICS. He has over 25 years of experience in Surgical Oncology. He has an experience in working as Surgical Oncologist in Guys Hospital, London, UK and Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. Currently he is a Surgical Oncologist in Breach Candy, P. D. Hinduja and Asian Institute of Oncology, Mumbai. He is part of the Board of Trustees and also the Trustee in Charge for Medical Education and Research at ICS.

Mr. K. A. Narayan

He has over 39 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. He has been with Raymond for past 14 years as President – HR. He has been spearheading the culture and leadership transformation journey. During his tenure at Raymond, he has undertaken several HR initiatives, organization restructuring and talent initiatives. Prior to Raymond, he was President – Corporate Human Resources and Legal for Wockhardt Limited. Wockhardt is a global Pharmaceutical Company. He worked with Wockhardt for 19 years joining the company as Manager – Personnel and rose to become the President for Global HR. He has handled several Global Mergers and Acquisitions, Leadership Development, setting up Greenfield Hospitals and in culture charge initiatives. He has been a recipient of several industry awards including the RASBIC Award for talent management, Amity Award for Outstanding HR Contribution, and Indira School Award for outstanding work in HR. Mr Narayan is Jt Hon, Secretary and also Trustee in Charge of Human Resource Department at ICS

Mr. Kewal Nohria

Mr Nohria is an Electrical Engineer from BHU and A Management Graduate from Manchester Technical College (UK), He has been associated with the Electrical Industry and has held senior positions with a number of organizations, one of them being Chairman and Managing Director of Crompton Greaves Ltd. He has also been a president of ASSOCHAM, IIEMA, Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is part of the Board of Trustees and National Managing Committee as well.

Mr. M. K. Sharma

Mr Sharma has a work experience of over 45 years as a Corporate Lawyer, over 25 years as a Board member / Independent Director in leading Indian Companies and MNCs. He was the Vice Chairman of Hindustan Unilever Limited from the year 2000 to 2007. At present he is a Management and Legal Consultant. He has been a Managing Trustee for one tenure and now Trustee in Charge for Legal affairs at ICS. Has been associated with ICS for more than a decade.

Mr. Naveen Kshatriya

Mr Kshatriya is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, Mr. Naveen Kshatriya is a Founder of Kshatriya Ventures and serves as its Managing Partner. He served as Managing Director of Castrol India Ltd. Served as Regional Vice President and Head of BP Castrol’s Automotive Lubricants Business in Asia and the Pacific region including India, China the Middle East, and Australia. He worked at Unilever for 23 years. He was Managing trustee for two terms and has been one of key members to drive ICS Vision and mission and building the Brand ICS pan India. He is also Trustee in Charge for Awareness and Marketing and been associated with ICS for more than a decade.
