The S.V.S. Marwari Hospital Cancer Detection Centre continues to render cancer detection services. The Detection Centre functions on every Wednesday and Saturday between 3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. The Check-ups include X-ray, ENT, Surgical, Medical Gynaecological and Blood Tests. A second Cancer Detection Centre has been opened at Punjab Bhavan in association with the medical team of Punjabee Bradee Punjab Bhavan and regular check ups are being carried out at the centre.

During the year Mobile Detection Camps are held where many people are examined. Suspected cases are advised to undergo further investigations and treatment. The Cancer Awareness Programmes are held regularly with the aid of TV/VCP and Cassettes with the following titles.

• Life After Cancer

• Time to Act

Educational programmes are held in various offices, Banks, Clubs, Educational Institutions etc. Lot of people take advantage of these programmes. Informative posters, Banners etc. are also exhibited during these programmes.

Under the Cancer Insurance Scheme, persons are enrolled as well wisher Life Members or as Well Wisher Ordinary Members.
